SCOPE OF GLAZED DOORS FIRE RATED

Fire rated glazed doors are normally used instead of metal doors with vision panels when a total transparency combined with better aesthetic solution is desired. The doors of this type can cost significantly more. They are not suitable for exteriors in particular those with silicate laminated glass because they deteriorate rapidly if exposed to sunlight or water. These type of doors are used primarily in hospitals, hotels, museums, shopping centers, and similar public buildings of prestige to divide into compartments corridors, staircases, offices, passages.

DESCRIPTION OF GLAZED DOORS

Glazed doors tested according to the Italian standard UNI 9723 or BS or European EN 1634 depending on type and progression of the certification process, composed of frame and structure of leaf made of hollow steel profiles insulated internally with asbestos-free inorganic silicate, also with aluminum cover in the versions 60-90-120 minutes, fire rated glass tested to integrity or integrity and insulation, with adjustable steel hinges rotating on ball bearings and stainless steel pins, steel lock with nickel cylinder, hydraulic door closers on every leaf, thermo-expanding gaskets and rubber seal, stainless steel or black safety handle, finishing by painting with thermo-hardened powders smooth finish semigloss in RAL 7035 standard tone or to request semi-standard RAL 1013, 3000, 5010, 6005, 7016, 8017, 9006, 9010 or special RAL. Anodizing in silver, bronze or black tone. Steel profiles section 50 and 80 mm, steel profiles with aluminum cover section 70 and 95 mm. All doors and side panels have a transom at handle height of 90 or 170 mm. Double leaf doors include closing regulator type in sight and in secondary wing mortise lock and self-blocking device with rods closing at top and bottom. Installation on galvanized steel sub-frame section 38x17x2 or 60x20x2 or 80x20x2 depending on type of door to fasten by clamps to the wall. Conformity mark metallic label and copy of homologation or certificate, conformity.



AVAILABLE TYPES
Glazed doors tested to integrity only, with monolithic glass thickness 5 mm or 6mm. Glazed doors tested to integrity and insulation, with multilayer fire rated glass thickness from mm 16-18 (30 minutes resistance) up to 52-55 (120 minutes resistance). With this type of glass strictly use indoor only, glass deteriorates soon if exposed to sun and rain. Steel profiles sections mm 50 and mm 80 and steel profiles covered by aluminum sections mm 70 and mm 95.

Steel profiles varnished RAL 7035 or any other RAL tone.
Aluminum profiles anodized silver, bronze, black or varnished any RAL tone.
For all models resistances 60 and 120 minutes, for some models resistance 30 and 90 minutes.
